Murrieta details that vary by address
Two homes a few streets apart in Murrieta can come with different service providers and costs. Confirm these for the specific address before you commit:
- Water and sewer. The City lists four water districts serving Murrieta: Western Municipal, Eastern Municipal, Rancho California and Elsinore Valley. Rates and conservation rules vary by provider.
- School district. The City lists two school districts serving Murrieta: Murrieta Valley Unified and Menifee Union. Confirm school assignment with the district for the exact address.
- Special taxes. Some neighborhoods are in a Community Facilities District (Mello-Roos) with an annual special tax. Review the property tax bill and disclosures.
- HOA. Dues, rules and what the association maintains differ by community.
